Sarah Coolidge

Dance Artist & Educator

Dance artist and educator, Sarah Coolidge, has an M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College and B.A. in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College.  Originally from Northern New York, Sarah studied under the direction of Allison Newton. She has performed with the Rochester Dance Project, FuturPointe Dance, Rochester Contemporary Dance Collective, and Rochester Lyric Opera, Ajkun Ballet Theatre, and as a guest performer with Grounded Ariel during the First Niagara Rochester Fringe Festival.  Sarah has also performed works by various independent artists including Anthony Ferro, Joao Carvalho, Ellen Sinopoli, Mark O’Malley, Heather Roffe, and

Kathy Diehl.  Choreographer of dance and theatre since childhood, Sarah has had her work presented at numerous venues in the Northeast, including St. Lawrence University, Edwards Opera House, Rochester Contemporary Art Center, and Goddard College, and has been a guest artist at Nazareth College, South Jefferson Dance Company, and Ballet Academy of Northern New York.  From 2006 to 2010, Coolidge served on the faculty at St. Lawrence University as Dance Program and Artistic Director in the Performance and Communication Arts Department.  Sarah has been an adjunct faculty member at Nazareth College since 2013.
